About Ms. Murray

Khalia Murray is the Founder of Ms. Murray’s Corner. Ms. Murray’s Corner is an Online Tutoring Program that provides individualized services to students in Pre-Kindergarten through Second grade.  She is an esteemed Educator and Education Advocate. Khalia is also a proud UNCF K-12 Education Fellowship alumna. Ms. Murray is committed to excellence for students and seeing them reach their academic potential.

She began her career in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC! She has over seven years of elementary teaching experience. She has served as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, Grade Level Leader, and K-4 Interventionist. Khalia has embarked on a new journey in the Education Technology world as an Education Partnership Specialist. She hosts monthly Bedtime Story Chronicles on her Instagram page, where she features children and authors! Ms.Murray has also taken her talents to higher education and serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Georgia State University!

Khalia is a native of Teaneck, NJ and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. She takes pride in acknowledging that her hometown was the first community in the nation to voluntarily integrate their Public School System. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Spelman College and a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree with a focus on Early Childhood Education from the Relay Graduate School of Education. Spelman’s mantra is “ A Choice to Change the World” and that has become Ms. Murray’s life mission.
